Sales & Marketing Consultant
Don’s association with the Ray White Ascot trade area goes all the way back to the 1990’s when he was the Principal of Ray White Clayfield, before the Ascot Office was opened by his mate, Dwight Ferguson. Prior to his 12 years at Clayfield, Don was Principal of Ray White Noosa for 10 years.
In those days Ray White Chairman Brian White was personally involved with every office, and Don considers himself fortunate to have been mentored by a man he considers to be Australia’s premier property authority. In fact, coming back to the business at the ripe old age of 65, Don says that Brian’s example that we are never too old, is a big factor behind his motivation.
During his more than 35 years in the Real Estate business, Don has achieved some significant milestones. During his Noosa years he was widely considered to be the premier agent in the area, specializing in the prestige market, up and down Hastings Street, Noosa Sound, Little Cove, and Sunshine Beach.
When he came to Brisbane in the early 1990’s to give his 4 children the best possible education, Don was involved in the marketing and sale of many prestige homes in the area, including ‘Blainsleigh’ for the Bond family, ‘Toorak House’ for Sir William and Lady Allen, among many others, and held the Qld sales record of $6.8M for ‘Le Rivage,’ Keith Lloyd’s ‘Pink Palace’ opposite New Farm park, a record that stood for over a decade.
Don’s vast experience manifests itself in his high level of communication skills, his attention to detail throughout a marketing campaign, knowledge of the market, well honed negotiation skills, complete honesty and commitment, and most of all, his passion for meeting people and providing them with the ultimate real estate experience.
